MSFS on Xbox Cloud Gaming and Beechcraft Model 17 Staggerwing Released

People can now enjoy Microsoft Flight Simulator on their phones, tables, and low specs PCs thanks to the Xbox Cloud Gaming services.

The Microsoft Flight Simulator developers have announced that the simulator can now be streamed via the Xbox Cloud Gaming. This means that players on mobile phones, tablets and low PC specs will enjoy the same experience as on Xbox X and S.

Thanks to the Xbox Cloud Gaming the user can launch the simulator through the Xbox dashboard and quickly dive into it as there is no need to install it. It can be played beyond the console on supported mobile phones, tablets and lower-spec PCs. The only requirement is a Bluetooth controller and a Xbox Game Pass subscription.

The multiplayer is the same for all the simmers on PC, Xbox and Xbox Cloud Gaming. The world updates from I to VI are loaded automatically. The users can restore their previous purchases and the complete Xbox marketplace is available. This service is included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription.

Along with that announcement the developers have taken to their Facebook page to announce the release of a new addon. The Beechcraft Model 17 Staggerwing. The aircraft is a result of a partnership with Carenado. It is one of the most iconic aircraft in aviation history. Though it was developed first and foremost as a civilian plane for the general aviation market, the aircraft also saw service in the military and racing.

With this release, the team at Asobo launches a new series of aircraft called the Famous Flyer.

It is available for both PC and Xbox through the in-game marketplace for USD 14.99.
