MSFS2020 April 9th Development Update

 

Microsoft Flight Simulator team has today released another development update via their website. The post has started with an update on the currently postponed deliverables. What changed from the previous plans is the Episode 8 (IFR) that was due to be released Mid April, but got postponed to Late April/Early May. Partnership Series should still be released Mid April.

A new alpha build update should be coming within the next 2-3 days and will contain an Airbus A320. MSFS team has also shared, that new invitations will be sent out today (9.4. – time zone difference).

The post also includes some information about the SDK.

We are excited to have over 150 third party companies using our SDK and working on many amazing updates for the new simulator. This week marks the initial release of WebAssembly support, enabling our partners to start porting their native code over to our platform.

Next development update should be coming on April 16th and should feature Partnershio Announcement Series Update.
