MXI Design Releases Doha Airport for MSFS

Just in time for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, MXI Design has released their scenery of Doha Hamad International Airport (OTHH) for the MSFS.

Just in time for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the team at MXI Design has released their scenery of Doha Hamad International Airport (OTHH) for the Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The scenery brings us to the capital of Qatar, Doha, in the Persian Gulf. The airport serves as the home base for Qatar Airways and was named the World’s Best Airport in 2021. While you won’t be able to use the airport facilities in the simulator, you will be able to fly to over 150 destinations, with only Qatar Airways, from the airport.

If you’re considering getting the scenery, MXI Design has ensured to feature an up-to-date airport ground layout with accurate ground markings, allowing for realistic operations and easy navigation on the ground.

In addition to that, the scenery features high-resolution textures with PBR materials for the best visual immersion. There is also a custom, but very basic, terminal interior included in the scenery with 3D passengers and animated passenger trains going around the terminal building.

To conclude this section, MXI Design has also implemented custom animated jetways, Aerosoft’s VDGS system for better parking services, and even animated doors of the Qatar Airways’ hangar that trigger on command.

If you want to purchase the scenery, you can do so through the Orbx website or application for $29.99 AUD, or roughly $19.20.
