The Navigraph team has showcased new features for their charts and navigation data services during their FSExpo presentation on Friday.
Navigraph is crucial for all flight simulator users, as it provides flight planning via SimBrief, provides charts by Jeppesen, and navigational data, known as AIRAC, for all simulator platforms.
A newly announced service by Navigraph is going to be Flight Training, which will be available on their YouTube channel.
Year in Review
The team initially started with reviewing the past twelve months of development, showcasing things that have been implemented to their products, including live traffic and ATC map on VATSIM and IVAO, integrated SimBrief dispatch in MSFS 2020, as well as EFB apps for the MSFS 2024 EFB and scratchpad.
The scratchpad was already supposed to be released, but it is going to be released after the end of this summer.
New Features
This new feature is going to include VFR sectional maps by Rogers Data. These charts are used in PPL theory exams, for example. They are covering the entire Europe, and will be included with the current Unlimited subscription plan.

The next feature is going to reduce taxiing workload. This new feature is called Taxiway Routing. With this feature, you will be able to easily mark your gate and taxiways to use during taxi procedures. The team has just started working on this feature. You will be able to select your taxiways and holding points, and directional rules will be taken into consideration. It shows you selected holding points, exits, and other limits en route.

The last feature the team has been working on is Simlink v2. This new version of Simlink is going to support all three major simulator platforms, as well as Windows and macOS compatibility. This will also inject AI traffic in the simulator, including the default air traffic, BeyondATC, or VATSIM, as it will be open to inject any form of AI traffic.

The live traffic update rate has been quadrupled. The presenter mentioned that you can turn your EFB into a navigation display with this new Simlink system.
The team has mentioned that all these features will come soon. You can also read more about Navigraph in one of our previous articles here.
