After the release of the A350, iniBuilds is now back with their sceneries for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. An announcement was made on the developer’s forum regarding a new scenery in their “Premium” category. London Heathrow (EGLL) will receive a significant update compared to their previous Heathrow scenery for MSFS2020. This brand-new scenery is set to be released exclusively for MSFS2024. Today, iniBuilds has announced that this scenery will be released tomorrow March 7th. iniBuilds will also host a special event on the VATSIM network for this release.
A New Look for Heathrow
iniBuilds is giving new life to London Heathrow Airport in MSFS 2024. This is their fourth rendition of this airport and this time they will rebuild this scenery from the ground up as their most advanced recreation. It will feature an “unmatched level of realism and immersion” according to iniBuilds. It will cover 12 sq/km of multiple new features compared to the MSFS 2020 scenery.
This scenery will receive the same treatment as other “Premium” products for MSFS 2024. As said in their release strategy, Premium products will incorporate new models, ground polygons, and textures native from this simulator. They will use all the tools available from MSFS 2024 to rebuild these products from the ground.
iniBuilds shared some pictures in their product announcement post. It showcases all the new interiors, features, and animations of this scenery. They also showcased it in the scenery’s trailer and also released some comparison images between the old and new version of Heathrow.
iniBuilds and Big Jet TV Release Event
Tomorrow on the VATSIM network, iniBuilds alongside plane spotter Big Jet TV will host a special event on the network. This event will be held at Heathrow to celebrate this scenery release. Big Jet TV will be virtually plane-sporting at Heathrow at one of their modeled spots included in this scenery. The arriving and departing aircraft at the airport will be featured by the cameras of Big Jet TV. This event will start at 17:30 UTC.
The developer is almost ready to release this scenery. The price set on their announcement post is at £21.99. Similarly to previous iniBuilds products, this one has a special promotion for owners of the previous Heathrow scenery for MSFS 2020. Previous owners can pay only £9.99 to get this new scenery.
