Airbus A350
Previously declared their flagship product, iniBuilds Airbus A350 for MSFS, is one of the more anticipated releases planned for 2024. Originally announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, it was later announced that the A350 would be exclusively for MSFS 2024.
Today’s new previews showcase the cockpit and focus on the central pedestal panel. On those, we can take a look at the MCDU, throttle quadrant, as well as various lighting knobs, parking break, or the landing gear gravity extender.
According to iniBuilds, the release is still scheduled for 2024, and the team has a plethora of A350 content planned to showcase and preview in December. This might suggest that the release could happen around that time of the year.
MSFS 2024 Plans
With the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 coming shortly, iniBuilds is introducing a new product categorisation. There will be three types of iniBuilds products: Compatible, Enhanced, and Premium.
The Compatible category will be for products ported from Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 with tested performance to ensure everything works seamlessly. Only “outstanding” bugs will be fixed in the port, and the products will use all existing textures and models. Products within this category will free if you own the product for MSFS 2020.
The Enhanced category will also be for ports from Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, but with re-exported models to match the latest MSFS 2024 system. In the case of sceneries, the ground polygons will be similarly upgraded to MSFS 2024 standards, and products will be adapted for additional MSFS 2024 features. Products within this category will have an upgrade cost if you previously owned the product for MSFS 2020. In the case of the examples mentioned below (or shown in the image above), theย upgrade fee was set to 4.99 GBP.
The Premium category will be for completely rebuilt or significantly updated Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 products. These products will feature the complete implementation of the new Level of Detail (LOD) models and textures, along with full utilization of the latest MSFS 2024 capabilities. For scenery products, this also includes entirely new or enhanced ground polygons. These products will either be offered for free (in the case of the T-33 Jet Trainer or Innsbruck) or will have an upgrade fee (in the case of the A300-600R Airliner).
iniBuilds’ MSFS 2024 Products

According to that, the Premium category will include the A300-600R Airliner, Innsbruck Airport (LOWI), a T-33 Jet Trainer, and a new international airport we have yet to see. The to-be-announced international airport is teased in the image below. Share your guesses with us below or on our Discord server if you think you know what it is.
Theย Enhancedย category will, on the other hand, include Ibiza Airport (LEIB) and Palm Springs Airport (KPSP).

The A300-600R will be in both theย Premiumย andย Compatibleย categories, giving users the choice of the product they want. If you have previously owned the MSFS 2020 version, upgrading to the Premium version will cost 9.99GBP, or 44.99GBP to buy new.
