New Henderson Executive Released by UK2000 Scenery

 

UK2000 Scenery recently took to their Facebook page to announce the release of their rendition of Henderson Executive Airport (KHND) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The rendition is their 18th product offering for the platform.

Features of the rendition

The developer states that their rendition of Henderson Executive has been developed referencing high-definition images and the rendition contains PBR textures. All models in the rendition have been researched by the team at UK2000 scenery and are based on the real-world airport. Key features of the rendition include realistic ground markings, stunning night effects, highly detailed airport vehicles, and custom taxiway signs.

Further features of the rendition include high-resolution ortho imagery, optional static general aviation aircraft, modeled fencing around the airport perimeter, custom vegetation surrounding the airport, and is accurate in terms of airport layout reflective of the real-world location. The developer also states that the rendition has been optimized for the smoothest experience in-sim.

A little about Henderson Executive

Henderson Executive Airport is a public-use government airport located in Henderson, about thirteen miles southwest of the city of Las Vegas, Nevada. It has been categorized as a reliever airport by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). It was founded by Arby Alper in 1967 on 912 acres purchased from the city of Henderson and opened in 1970. Henderson Executive is now an established general aviation hub and caters to over 200 aircraft movements every day. The airport also provides services such as refueling, hangar rentals, maintenance, and flight training.
