The developer Mango Studios has published a plethora of previews of their upcoming ATR 72 for X-Plane 12. Alongside that, a major development update has been published, giving us further information on the development process of this turboprop. All of this information has been shared via the developer’s Discord server.

The development update has been posted by a Discord user called epicdonut, and is saying that the Mango Studios team has been busy working on the exterior model of the ATR 72, its texturing and interior model. Speaking of systems, work on them has started as well. This includes the EHSI (Horizontal Situation Indicator), weather radar and EADI (Electronic Attitude Indicator).

In the previews, we can mostly see a blank, untextured exterior model of the aircraft, with focus on details of the wings, flaps and the engine’s prop blades, exhaust and engine cowling.
