After detailing the development of the aircraft earlier this month, NextGen Simulations have today proudly released their first aircraft for the Microsoft Flight Simulator. The release was quite unexpected as it was originally scheduled for April this year with only a possibility of releasing earlier.

Bringing the Embraer EMB 110 to the new simulator, the addon features three aircraft variants (EMB-110P, EMB-110P1, EMB-1101PK – freighter) all optimized to run well, interactive in-sim checklists, custom-coded animations and systems logic, enhanced avionics, or authentic soundpack.

Additionally, the aircraft was developed using the latest SDK technologies and the developer promises it to both look and behave accurately. The complete feature list as well as a set of previews can be seen below.

The aircraft can be purchased through SimMarket for approximately €29.75 with VAT excluded.

Embraer EMB 110 Bandeirante is a Brazilian twin-turboprop aircraft for both military and civil use. Produced between 1968 and 1990, over 500 units were built with primary users being Brazilian Air Force and Wiggins Airways. With a service ceiling set to 21,500ft, the aircraft has a range of about 1,000 nautical miles.

I've been a flight sim enthusiast for some time now, and I've always enjoyed flying to various destinations all over the world. My favourite airport is by far Corfu with its scenic and challenging approach. I founded FSNews in May 2019.
