Orbx and Prepar3D v5 compatibility

Ben McClintock, Orbx Head of Technology, has today posted via the Orbx forums a post regarding Orbx products and compatibility with the recently released Prepar3D v5. Based on the post, over 230 products have been checked for major compatibility issues, and so far, the majority is working.

There was also a set of screenshots included in the post showcasing Orbx sceneries in Prepar3D v5.

Orbx has also created a list of all compatible products with Prepar3D v5, which can be found here. Products, that are not in the list will be worked on, but it was made clear, that this is not a commitment that all products will be made available for v5.

An exception was made with Orbx Global VECTOR, which will not be ported to Prepar3D v5. This is due to newer data and incompatibility with the new version of Prepar3D.

All updates to Prepar3D v5 will be free of charge for current owners and there is a guide on how to install them here.
