Orbx Announces Bastia Poretta Airport for MSFS

Orbx has today taken to their forums to announce the development of Bastia Poretta Airport (LFKB) for Microsoft Flight Simulator from Matteo Veneziani, an Orbx developer standing behind more than one scenery. Bastia Airport is an international airport serving the idyllic island of Corsica, France.

It has been mentioned in the post, that the scenery will not only cover the airport itself but the surrounding area as well. Furthermore, it was said, that particular attention has been given to the landside part of the airport which has been recreated to a high level of detail. As expected, the scenery is based on the latest references and includes a brand new expansion of the terminal.

Not to forget, the scenery will be using the advantages of the new simulator featuring PBR textures as a standard. In addition, we can expect all new ground equipment and static aircraft present at the scenery as well as a sloped runway, detailed vegetation, accurate apron markings, or innovative night lighting techniques.
