Orbx has announced a substantial update with a V2 of their YBBN Brisbane International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024.

Orbx has announced a substantial update for their Brisbane International Airport (YBBN) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. As Brisbane’s primary international gateway, this update promises to recreate the airport’s dynamic environment with impressively precise updates in several key areas.

Detailed in the forum announcement, the scenery will feature a revised layout aligned with real-world developments accurate as of June 2024, including the parallel runway (01L/19R) – a detail long sought by community members who have received this very well in forum threads and Discord posts since.

High-resolution aerial imagery will enhance ground textures, while remodelled terminals and a control tower, featuring generic interiors, will add depth to the setting. An animated monorail will link key areas, complemented by updated markings, dynamic lighting, and airside additions such as vehicles and equipment.
