Orbx, a well-known developer on the flight simulation scene, has today taken to their official forums to introduce a new scenery being developed for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The scenery will enhance the Graz Airport (LOWG) area.
It was mentioned in the forum post, that the scenery will feature complete PBR implementation throughout the airport, accurate reproduction of the wing-shaped terminal and the tower, or partial interior modelling, for example. Furthermore, weather effects will be present at the scenery together with custom orthoimagery for the airport surroundings.
For those looking into a kind of different experience, Orbx has included the G-Class Experience Center modelled along with an animated Mercedes SUV going through its paces in the airport surroundings.
The release date was not mentioned, however, it has been confirmed, that the developers are now awaiting the next MSFS patch to fix the issues with multiple airports located in the same grid for orthoimagery.
We will hold release of Graz until the patch is released (hopefully in a fortnight) to resolve the issues with airports sharing the same grid for orthoimagery.

Graz Airport (LOWG) is, with slighly over 1 million passengers annually, the fourth-busiest airport in Austria. It is a primary airport serving the southern Austria. The airport is operated mainly by seasonal flights to destinations such as Heraklion, Rhodes or Skiathos. Airlines such as Corendon, Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, or KLM operate from, and to, the airport.
