Orbx Announces Skiathos for MSFS

Orbx has recently taken to their Forums to announce the rendition of Skiathos for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The developer shared, together with the announcement, some information about the airport itself, features and, of course, some preview screenshots.

Skiathos International Airport (LGSK), usually referred to as St. Martin of Europe among many flight simmers, is an international airport located on the island of Skiathos, Greece. It has a short runway, only 1628 metres in length and with its difficult approach path, it is one of the most challenging airports to land at.

The rendition will have to offer a wide range of modern features, such as PBR textures used through the entire scenery package or custom GSE. As Orbx is also one of the best aerial scenery developers, custom and up-to-date ortho imagery of the entire island is included as well. This aerial imagery is going to have a resolution of 50cm per pixel.
