Orbx Releases Volanta 1.1 and Volanta Premium

Orbx’s tracking software Volanta has today got a major update, bringing much new stuff to the platform. The developer has introduced paid, subscription-based service Volanta Premium and a new, overhauled version of the tracking software – Volanta 1.1.

Volanta Premium, as I mentioned is a paid subscription service, which brings many new and exclusive features for Premium users. Among these, we can find autosave, the ability to upload 4K screenshots, group chat and much more.

In addition to that, people who buy Volanta Premium will get 25% off a large range of Orbx Products that are older than 90 days. This voucher code is applied to your account automatically. Volanta Premium is available through the app itself for a price of approximately €4.70 per month or €47.00 per year.

Volanta 1.1 brings us an in-app SimBrief overlay, which was missing in the first release version of Volanta. Therefore, you can now create, dispatch and view your flight plan within the Volanta program.

A 3D view of your flight route has been introduced as well.

There are also Aeronautical Sectional Charts. This is a map overlay available within the program. It is, however, available for the United States only at the moment. Another map overlay brings weather radar to the application, so you can now view precipitation in real-time within Volanta.
