A new video appeared on the AviationLads Youtube channel, showcasing the upcoming Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ESSA) for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Back in last year was the last time we covered any news on this upcoming Stockholm Arlanda scenery, which seems to be releasing very soon, assuming from the fact that the trailer is now public. Orbx already recreated the largest Swedish hub for Prepar3D, and as with any of their Prepar3D sceneries, they are bringing them into the Asobo’s platform.

In the trailer, we can see numerous details, and for now, we can only assume what the full feature list might be upon the release. In the video, there is a 3D interior visible done into immersive detail, with animations all over the airport. There also are custom textures that change depending on the season in the simulator, including runway and taxiway surfaces.

In addition, the scenery seems to be full of animated vehicles and people, that are going to help the scenery to come alive in the world of Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Stockholm Arlanda International Airport is the largest airport in Sweden and serves as one of the main hubs of Scandinavian Airlines. In 2017, the airport was used by over 27 million domestic and international passengers. The airport has four different terminals, three runways and a cargo and general aviation facility.
