Announced via their social media, Parallel42 returns with another immersion pack for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. Previously, they developed a visual pack for the A320 and 777 for this simulator. This new release focuses on new visual effects for the 737 model. It is compatible with the PMDG line of 737 add-on aircraft for MSFS. Parallel42 promises a single add-on for current and future 737 models in MSFS, so you don’t have to buy one for multiple add-ons.
New Immersion Effects for Your 737
Parallel42 is known for making simulation more immersive. Since the days of Flight Simulator X (FSX) and Prepar3D (P3D), they have developed extra add-ons for popular aircraft to include extra visual effects. According to the developer, the finer details these packs bring are very important to them in the chase of total immersion and realism during your flight simulator experience.
Previously, they released a similar pack for the A320 and 777 for MSFS. Parallel42 now tackles another popular airliner in MSFS. You can now use this new visual pack for the 737 line of add-ons released by PMDG. From the 737-600 to the -900, Bussines and Cargo variants are compatible. The developer promises that future 737 models will be compatible with this add-on when they become available. A list of all compatible aircraft is available on the product page.
This add-on includes 15 new effects. All of them were created to have the best performance in mind because it is Parallel42’s most important priority. This allows for a great and smooth flying experience. Most effects are present during weather conditions like condensation on the engines or wings, engine cold start, St-Elmo’s fire, or water droplets on the wing’s edge. Other effects are due to normal operations like a waste water drain in-flight, or brake dust.

- Skid Marks (Improved)
- Wheels on Rain (Improved)

The developer warned that the SimFX add-on by them is mandatory for the 737 Immersion. You can acquire this add-on from the Parallel42 Website for $15USD.
