Pilot Experience Sim’s current project is Biarritz (LFBZ) in the far south of France. They announced it back in April and previewed it earlier this month. Today we got another view on the progress with a development update and more previews, posted on Facebook.
The night lighting of the airport has seen good progress. The airport lights are finished, utilizing the new lighting effects. This uses less than the dynamic lighting they had before, increasing performance. All other library models have been optimized too.
These changes will be made to Bordeaux as well soon, with Montpellier too. You can enable these new lights in the configurator of the scenery.
