Pilot Plus Releases Oxford Airport for MSFS

Pilot Plus have today, after over a month since the project announcement, released their rendition of Oxford Airport (EGKT) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. While usually developers report on the development status, this was not the case as Pilot Plus did not mention publicly the development since the announcement.

The scenery offers its users features such as accurate airport layout, full PBR implementation, dynamic rain on the control tower and terminal glass, true-to-life static aircraft, custom ground markings, and extensive detail in general.

During the development, the developers were very closely cooperating with the airport management to ensure, that their rendition is, as they say, “extremely” accurate. The complete feature list can be found below.

The airport features meticulous detail and accuracy.  The virtual environment captures the vibrant atmosphere at London Oxford, you will find something new to explore around every corner.

The scenery is, as of right now, available to be purchased through the Pilot Plus website and the Orbx services for a price of approximately €14.50 with VAT excluded.

Oxford Airport (EGTK) is a rather small general aviation airport located just a few miles north of Oxford. It is home to the largest air training school in Europe, Oxford Aviation Academy. It operates a single asphalt runway and hosts companies such as Airbus Helicopters, Leading Edge Aviation, or the previously mentioned school.
