PMDG 737-900 to Enter Beta the Upcoming Week

PMDG 737-900 should enter beta testing this upcoming week. The planned EFB was also handed off to the beta team today. Read more here!

Robert Randazzo has shared some more information about their upcoming rendition of Boeing 737-900 and its beta version for Microsoft Flight Simulator. As usual, Robert shared this through the PMDG forums.

First and foremost, the 737-900. Randazzo said that the PMDG 737-900 should enter the beta testing phase in the upcoming week. However, Robert expects a change in the schedule, meaning that the team might get the beta version earlier or later. This is because PMDG is working on a variety of features on three different aeroplane types at the same time.

Speaking of the PMDG Flight Tablet, Randazzo mentioned that it went into testing today officially. However, currently, only the tablet itself is in testing, meaning that the beta team wasn’t handed a full aircraft version with the EFB already implemented. The beta team’s main focus is to test out Navigraph and SimBrief integrations within the PMDG Flight Tablet.

Lastly, the 737 series by PMDG should get a plethora of new interesting features. About those, Robert hasn’t talked about yet. If you would like to see more about PMDG’s recent work, you can read our article about the previous two development updates.
