PMDG’s Robert Randazzo has today via the PMDG forums announced that the first batch of PMDG Boeing 777 Series for MSFS 2024 has been pushed to the beta team for testing. Calling this a big step forward, PMDG has prepared a small development update, telling the community how things are progressing behind their workbench.
The beta builds include the already-released Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 777-F, as well as the upcoming Boeing 777-200ER. The builds handed are compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and Robert mentions that this is the first time the testing in the new simulator had enough stability for the products to be pushed to the beta team.
Not only does the team work on new builds, ensuring compatibility with the new platform, but also plans to majorly update the current 777 Series. This update is going to include a ton of small fixes, improving aircraft handling, removing bugs and improving performance. A new sound environment is also going to be present.
Lastly, Robert mentioned that after the 777, their rendition of DC-6 is going to be followed and begin its beta testing in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
