PMDG Addresses Good Progress on 737NG3

The CEO of PMDG, Robert Randazzo, has again taken to their forums to announce some more information about their upcoming Boeing 737 series for Microsoft Flight Simulator. In the forum post, the developer speaks about the progress they are making on the aircraft.

After PMDG resolved the issues with Asobo, the development of the 737NG3 started progressing very well once again. After the development update from January 25, PMDG progressed very well in terms of the aircraft systems. Currently, the developer is continuously working on the flight model, auto flight control laws, as well as refined AFDS control steering mode.

Robert has stated that the aircraft is now being flown on complete flight stages. This is mainly to debug the aircraft from its current minor issues. Furthermore, the aircraft is currently at a very stable stage, making it fully flyable.

Despite the aircraft being stable, the developer still needs to work on various bug fixes. In addition to that, the 737 still needs to go through tweaking of its flight model.

And last, but not least, Randazzo mentioned that they have chosen a go-to-beta date. However, he didn’t announce the date as of yet. This is because Randazzo feels like it might slow down the development if the beta date was publicly announced.
