A PMDG forums member has started the conversation about the removal of GSX compatibility from their 777 aircraft series, leading to discussion within the community and team members. This led to some confusion, which Mathijs Kok has addressed in the forum post.

Mathijs Kok mentioned that the PMDG team is removing some GSX features from the aircraft because the aircraft’s door logic was not working properly with FSDreamTeam’s GSX. He mentions that this is due to the complexity of the door code, and also the reason why you sometimes need to cycle door phases to lock them fully.

As both the PMDG 777 series and GSX progressed, patching would result in new issues being created, further creating stress among the aircraft users. Thus, removal of some features became the only viable option. However, it has been mentioned that this might be temporary until the PMDG team doesn’t find a proper solution to this problem.
On the brighter note, PMDG has also received a whole new soundpack by Boris Audio Works, enhancing the aircraft even further, about which you can read here.
