The PMDG team yesterday released their long-awaited iteration of the Boeing 777 Freighter for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

The 777 Freighter by PMDG offers a detailed simulation of the real-world 777 Freighter counterpart. Just as the previously released Boeing 777-300ER by the team, it offers a detailed simulation of avionics, flight deck and other system simulations with immersive detail.

There are some major differences to the 777-300ER, that namely include ground services available, different door logic and some security features.

The main cargo area is fully modelled, with a custom seating area with lighting controls and cargo door management.

The immersive 3D model is all covered in detailed textures and even offers precise animations of the doors’ arming process. Those who really want to simulate pre-flight as much as possible can also test emergency lighting in the cabin.

The electrical system has the special ELMS (Electrical Load Management System) implemented. This is powered by simulated control of AC and DC generation and distribution systems in the aircraft.
