PMDG has just released an update for its beloved DC-6 that brings Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 compatibility to this vintage propliner. The update adapts the MSFS 2020 version of the aircraft to be compatible with MSFS 2024 by incorporating minor changes to the model.
The primary changes in this update have to do with the models. PMDG has rebuilt the LOD models of the DC-6 to ensure visual stability and improve performance in the new simulator. The update is intended purely to make the aircraft compatible with MSFS 2024, and as such, there are no new features or changes to the DC-6 apart from the model changes mentioned.

If you’d like to read PMDG’s official forum post for this update, you can do so here. Don’t have the DC-6 yet? It’s available on PMDG’s website and the MSFS marketplace.
