PMDG Releases the 777F for MSFS 2024

PMDG have released the 777F for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 as part of their process of updating the 737 series and 777 series from MSFS 2020 to MSFS 2024.

PMDG have released the 777F for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 as part of their process of updating the 737 series and 777 series from MSFS 2020 to MSFS 2024. The 777F is available now for all PMDG customers via the PMDG Operations Center.

PMDG 777 Updates

For users who have not yet purchased the 777F for either simulator, you can now purchase it on the PMDG Store and will receive both the MSFS 2020 and 2024 versions. Marketplace customers will have to wait for Microsoft to approve it on MSFS. PMDG have now submitted it for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. Once it is approved, you will be able to purchase it.

There has been some confusion amongst customers and non-customers about what simulator version you will receive when you purchase PMDG products. PMDG has stated that only a single purchase of each aircraft is needed to receive both MSFS 2020 and 2024 versions. The 777F has also been updated for MSFS 2020, and its changelog can be found on the PMDG Operations Center when updated.

Other updates from PMDG include bringing the 777-200ER up to Sim Update 2 standards for MSFS 2024. This update is also now available on the Operations Center for MSFS 2024. The 777-200ER also received an update for MSFS 2020 that brings in more non-2024 changes. The changelog for the 777F is lengthy, and all changes can be found on the Operations Center when updated.

What’s Next?

PMDG have said that the beta team was given access to the 77W over the weekend and is currently testing the product to its fullest. They will reevaluate later this week to see if it will be ready for release or if it needs some extra work. However, they are confident that the 77W will arrive before the end of May. The 77L is also being readied for beta testing and will be in testing by the end of May.

More news on the DC-6 and 737 into MSFS 2024 will come soon, and some information on this should come next week. You can read more about the 777-200ER here, and for more PMDG-related news, read here on FSNews.
