Today, PMDG’s Robert Randazzo announced the upcoming rollout of PMDG Operations Center version 3 on the team’s forum page, and the process of moving the product lines from v2 to v3 has started.
The initial version of PMDG Operations Center v2 was released in 2017, and since then, this has been the main application to configure your PMDG aircraft in Prepar3D and in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Robert Randazzo mentions that most features from v2 remain in the new version, with some new features coming our way, including an overhauled user interface, which will bring PMDG’s configurator on par with the competition.
The first product that is now available in Operations Center v3 is PMDG Boeing 777F, and if you own the aircraft, you can already test it out. You will need to log in with your PMDG website credentials to download and install PMDG packages, including the aircraft and related liveries.
Whilst the 777 Freighter is the first aircraft to be compatible with this new Operations Center, Robert Randazzo mentioned that the next aircraft to be compatible is the Boeing 777-300ER, which is going to be compatible in a few days.
