Through a post on their forums, Robert from PMDG has confirmed a previously reported event. Microsoft has determined issues with the PMDG’s DC-6 rendition for Xbox and had to take it down.
The issue is unfortunately so major that it makes the aircraft unusable. There were no other options possible for Microsoft than to take the product of the Marketplace. All owners of the addon can request a full refund through the company’s Zendesk.
Unfortunately, Robert has stressed that it may take some time to fix the issues. It was furthermore confirmed that once the product is back in sale, the developers will treat it as a “great re-opening”. Thus, having the introductory pricing for Xbox users.
To avoid receiving hundreds of support tickets from the community members and unhappy customers, at the end of the post, Robert explained that they can’t help anyone with this process.
