Propair Flight have released their latest scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, Goose Bay (CYYR). The scenery follows previous releases like Rocky Mountain, Kaunas, and Lincoln Airports for MSFS. It can only be found on the Orbx Store or Propair’s website exclusively.
About Goose Bay Airport
Goose Bay Airport is located on the eastern edge of North America and is a vital waypoint for transatlantic flights of smaller, lighter aircraft. It makes the journey between Europe and North America easier and less challenging for GA pilots.

It’s seen as a safe haven for pilots after hours over the open Atlantic Ocean. Some airliners also use the airport for unplanned fuel stops if they can not make it any further. However, the majority of traffic served at this airport is General Aviation flights, as airliners do not schedule flights to Goose Bay.
Propair Flight’s Goose Bay Scenery
Propair Flight have recreated this vital stop for transatlantic flights in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. It adds a detailed rendition of the airport for simmers to enjoy and use when flying realistic transatlantic routes. The scenery allows simmers to take the journey across the Atlantic and have somewhere to land and refuel on the other side.

The scenery features highly detailed 3D modelling of the airport’s buildings, accompanied by high-quality textures across the airport. If you look around the airport, the ground poly has also been recreated to be as accurate as possible to the real airport. Its dynamic lighting allows simmers to use the airport at night easily and safely.
Propair Flight says the project was community-driven as a response to a community vote and interest in the airport. The scenery is exclusively available on Orbx and Propair Flight’s website for three weeks. You can purchase the scenery for £9 on their website.
