PYREEGUE Dev Co has recently released a major update for their texture utility plugin for X-Plane 11 called Airport Layout Enhancement Solution, also known as ALES. ALES replaces default textures with high-quality ones with PBR.
A lot has been added to version two, and if I should point something out, I would probably mention rain effects added to all textures, new textures for runways and taxiways, regional variations of textures, or Vulkan compatibility, for example.
Not to forget, a custom installer has been implemented through which you can select the texture quality and type of textures. If you want to display an old and worn out runway, you can select that option in the installer.
