Rotate Previews MD-11 Cockpit Lighting (XP11)

Last time mentioned back in February earlier this year, Rotate has recently taken to the X-Plane.org Forums to share a new set of previews showcasing their, within the community, highly-anticipated rendition of a McDonnell Douglas MD-11 for X-Plane 11.

Atgcab from Rotate at first mentioned, that all light sources in the aircraft cockpit have been simulated, and that the development here has been completed. Additionally, the systems are now mostly complete as well, while the vertical navigation is under heavy testing.

All four previews showcasing the cockpit lighting during the nighttime can be seen either above or below in the article. It is obvious from the previews, that the aircraft is already in very advanced development stages.

As part of the myriad of tasks that we are facing before the end of the developing phase, we have been working on the interior lighting of the cockpit.

The developer did not disclose any new information on the expected release date date or pricing details. Based on previous posts, the developers start to see a light at the end of the tunnel. The aircraft is in development for over four years alread.

If you want to learn more about the development, we suggest reading through our Rotate category archive.
