ShadeX Released (XP11)

What was initially planned to be a screenshot tool for X-Plane 11, turned out to be an effect tuning plugin with numerous unique effects. Called “Shadex“, Stairport Sceneries has recently released the plugin.

Priced at €12.50 with VAT excluded, the plugin makes it possible for the user to change color settings, add effects to the simulator, change depth of field, and select from various presets made by the community members.

A set of comparison screenshots showcasing how the simulator looks with, and without, ShadeX installed can be seen below.

We think it is important to mention, that the plugin is not compatible with Mac devices. If you want to purchase ShadeX for X-Plane 11, you can do so through the Aerosoft website for a price of €12.50 with VAT excluded.

There is a free demo available to be downloaded through the Aerosoft website as well. The demo version is full-featured so people can check how their systems will handle the plugin. A watermark is present in the demo version.
