Sierra TPM Module, a game-changer designed for enthusiasts of general aviation. That is how Honeycomb Aeronautical presents the latest addition to its portfolio of flight simulator peripherals, promising to bring realistic throttle, propeller pitch and mixture controls to our home cockpits.
The product was revealed during Honeycomb Aeronautical’s presentation at FSWeekend, during which the team explained that they wanted to bring this part of flying to the consumer market without compromising the quality of the high-end market. This is achieved, for example, by having the controls be metal instead of plastic.

In addition to the standard throttle, propeller pitch and mixture settings, the team has added a flap switch, a landing gear lever with LED indicators, a trim wheel and a parking break. The module closely resembles the controls often found in Cessna cockpits.
Just like in the cockpit of an actual aircraft, the resistance of the throttle control can be adjusted to your needs, and the axis of propeller pitch and mixture controls supports fine-tuning by rotation. So you are not only limited to significant changes or forced to make very small adjustments on the main axis, but can achieve the perfect setting by rotating each of the controls.

You will also have to hold the button on the propeller pitch and mixture controls to move them, just like in the real aircraft.
The unit will be compatible with both PCs and Macs. The price and release timeframe were not revealed during the presentation.
