Sierrasim Releases El Alto International for MSFS

 

Sierrasim Simulation took to their Facebook page to announce the release of their rendition of El Alto International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. The product is their sixteenth such scenery for the platform.

About El Alto International

El Alto International Airport or Aeropuerto Internacional El Alto is an international airport serving La Paz, Bolivia, and located in El Alto city, 8 miles west from La Paz. It is the highest international airport in the world, situated 4,061.5 meters or 13,325ft above sea level. It is the seventh highest commercial airport in the world and the highest commercial airport outside China. El Alto Airport has been in service since the first half of the 20th century and modernized further in the ’60s. It was the primary hub for the defunct Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano and currently serves as the focus city for Boliviano de Aviación.

Key Features

Sierrasim’s El Alto International features a highly detailed recreation of the real-world location for the best immersion and accuracy. The rendition features detailed ground textures and images, custom-made highly-detailed airport objects, military hangars, and night lighting. The developers have also created a custom terminal building with both interior and exterior models, custom jetways for the ramp, and static traffic around the airport for better immersion. The developer has also optimized the LODs for the best in game performance and higher FPS.

Sierrasim Simulation’s El Alto International can be purchased via the SimMarket Store and currently retails for EUR 17.00 inclusive of any taxes. The scenery is available for both MSFS2020 and MSFS2024, but are sold as separate versions. If you own either version, you are entitled a discount to upgrade to the other version.
