In a post on their Facebook page, Sierrasim Simulation, a South American scenery developer, has announced and previewed their currently developed scenery covering the Olaya Herrera Airport (SKMD) for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The scenery should, in addition to the airport coverage, feature several distinctive buildings in the nearby city of Medellin, Colombia. The current estimated release date is set to the end of the month – March.
The price of the scenery as well as the complete feature list remains unknown. A total of two sets of previews were shared of which a selection of previews can be seen below.
Olaya Herrera Airport (SKMD) is an airport serving the second-largest city in Colombia, Medellín. While it is not the biggest airport serving the city, it sees both regional and domestic flights, and annually sees about half a million passengers. The airport has a difficult approach due to the close vicinity of the airport.
