Simulación Extrema has released their rendition of Tanegashima Airport (RJFG) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. With this release, Simulación Extrema brings simmers to the Kagoshima Prefecture, known for being a tourist destination due to the abundance of hot springs.
About Tanegashima Airport
Tanegashima Airport began operations on March 16, 2006, the same day the old Tanegashima ceased operations after more than 40 years of service. The airport serves Tanegashima, an island 43 kilometres south of mainland Japan. Unlike the old Tanegashima Airport, the current airport is capable of handling jet aircraft thanks to its 2000-meter-long runway. Subsidiaries of Japan Airlines operate flights to the airport from Osaka, Fukuoka, and Kagoshima.

Simulación Extrema’s Tanegashima Features
Simulación Extrema’s rendition of Tanegashima Airport includes several elements based on the real facility’s layout and infrastructure. The scenery features hand-modelled terminal buildings with interior modeling. The environment surrounding the terminal building includes administrative, maintenance, and emergency service buildings.
The developer has also applied custom runway and ground textures to reflect the layout and markings of the actual airport. The airside environment includes detailed taxiways, apron areas, and service roads. Additionally, a 3D model of the Rosenbauer Phantom S 6×6 fire truck is included.

Simulación Extrema’s rendition of Tanegashima Airport for MSFS 2020 and 2024 is now available for purchase. You can obtain a copy from the Marketplace for $12.99. For more news on Simulación Extrema’s latest offerings, check out their category here on FSNews.
