SSG Previews Upcoming 747 Cockpit Improvements

The team from Supercritical Simulations Group, also known simply as “SSG”, has today taken to their Facebook page to share a set of seven new previews showcasing the upcoming version of their well-received Boeing 747-8 aircraft addon.

All previews are focused on showcasing cockpit improvements which seem to be significant comparing the new cockpit to the one in previous versions of the addon. The update will bring overall more depth to the flight deck.

This can especially be seen on the overhead panel with much more detail brought to the area around various switches and buttons.

The previews also suggest that we can expect a new EFB layout with new options. Unfortunately, the developers did not yet share a full changelog of the update and so we can only guess what it will bring.

Whilst the update is expected to be free of charge for all existing owners of the addon, no information was disclosed by SSG on the release date topic.

All previously mentioned improvements are expected to be part of the “v2.4” update of the aircraft.
