SimWorks Studios took to their Discord server to publish a new development update on their ongoing projects for Microsoft Flight Simulator. They also announced that the Airvan would be released very soon for MSFS2020.
Airvan Release
As part of the new dev update, SWS announced that the MSFS2020 version of the Airvan is at the “finish line” and that release would be soon. The team has already contacted the people who are supposed to get their free copies from the developer. In terms of feature set, the MSFS2024 version of the aircraft is on par with the MSFS2020 version, but iterated that they would hold off on release for further testing. It will be given around a month of testing upon the release of MSFS2024 Sim Update 3 to ensure stability.
The team will release the product page, product manual, and failure supplements online next week so simmers can get acquainted online with the new aircraft. A PDF version of the manual can be found on their Discord server.

PC-12 Update
The SWS team states that modeling work on the PC-12 has reached 100% completion and will now move ahead to the testing phase of development. The updated aircraft comes with a lot more LODs to facilitate performance on top of making it easier to port to MSFS2024. There should also be a small reduction in file sizes. The external model of the aircraft will also be similarly revamped, and more previews of that, as well as the PC-12NG, can be expected next week. Once the electronic flight tablet from the Airvan has been ported over to the PC-12, it too will have the ability to hot swap between different radio/navigation panels such as the GTN, GNS, and GTNXi.

Closing Notes
Work also continues on the Kodiak 100 and 900 aircraft products, as the team makes efforts to get the aircraft MSFS2024-ready. More progress will be shared, and the team will share new updates in the coming days. The Airvan will be initially released on the in-sim Marketplace and will be followed by their store later. SWS did not reveal why but did state that they would reveal more on this later.
