TaiModels Releases Singapore Changi for XP12

TaiModels took to their Facebook page yesterday to announce the release of their rendition of Singapore Changi Airport for the X-Plane 12 platform.

TaiModels took to their Facebook page yesterday to announce the release of their rendition of Singapore Changi Airport for the X-Plane 12 platform. The product was previously released for the MSFS platform late last month and is now also available for X-Plane 12.

Key Features

TaiModels’ Singapore Changi for X-Plane 12 features highly detailed modeling for terminal buildings, hangars, airport buildings, and other miscellaneous structures around the airport. The team has also implemented SAM animated jetways for better realism and quality-of-life in the sim. Further features also include high-quality PBR texturing on various objects and the ground, complete autogen scenery around the airport, and custom weather textures in the sim. The team has also taken extra care to optimize LODs and such for the best performance on most systems.

Singapore Changi Airport is the primary international airport serving the country and city of Singapore, one of the largest transportation hubs in Asia, and the hub for the country’s flag carrier, Singapore Airlines. The airport is located within the locality it is named after, Changi, on the eastern end of the country, and about 24 kilometers from Singapore’s Downtown Core. It is also the home base for JetStar Asia, BOC Aviation, and Scoot as well as the focus city for both Qantas and FedEx Express. More than 100 airlines offer scheduled passenger and cargo services from across the world including Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania, and North America.
