Terrainy Studios Previews Samos Airport for MSFS

Terrainy Studios, just about a month after announcing a partnership with Gaya Simulations, has today taken to their social networks to share a new set of previews showcasing their upcoming scenery of Samos Airport (LGSM) for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The scenery is not only developed in cooperation with Gaya Simulations, but as well will feature accurate recreations of the towns of Ireon, Potokaki, and Pythagoreion. Furthermore, there will be many points of interesterests scattered around the island making it possible to fly VFR flights with full immersion.

The screenshots are showcasing the airport itself from the air traffic control tower and the nearby city on the island. It was made clear in the post, that the screenshots may not be showcasing the final product.

First announced back in late August 2020, the scenery is now approaching the release date which was unfortunately not disclosed. We have been hinted in a direct email from the team, that Prepar3D and X-Plane 11 variants are also scheduled and should be released in the near future.

Samos Airport (LGSM) is an international, and main, airport serving the island of Samos in Greece. The airport sees mainly seasonal traffic and is notably known for its dangerous approach. Annually, about 500 thousand people visit the airport.
