TFDi Design About MSFS2020 Compatibility

TFDi Design has come to their forums to speak about the compatibility of their products with the upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. TFDi Design got many questions recently asking about certain product compatibility, and they wanted to address them now.

It has been made clear, that both smartCARS 2 and PACX will be compatible with MSFS2020 at launch.

From our tests using FSUIPC7, the results were staggeringly positive. All variables that our application reads to and from are all working and being recorded inside of smartCARS and shown in the flight log.

PACX was also able to correctly identify the stages of flight, and all announcements were spoken at the correct time.

Although the addons will work, there are still few major bugs that will be fixed before, or after the release.

No information was shared regarding the currently developed MD-11 and already released Boeing 717.
