Thrustmaster Reveals New Products at FSExpo 2021

Today at FSExpo 2021, Thrustmaster revealed new products that will be added to their civil aviation flight simulation product lineup.

Today at FSExpo 2021, Thrustmaster revealed new products that will be added to their civil aviation flight simulation product lineup.

First, Thrustmaster reveals their new TCA Captain Pack Airbus Edition. Expanding on the Officer Pack Airbus Edition, the Captain Pack also includes the TCA Airbus Add-On Pack, bringing all of Thrustmaster’s Airbus-Line products into one package. The Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus Edition will be available for purchase on October 12th, 2021 for $249.00 USD.

Next, Thrustmaster plays a reveal trailer announcing a new license agreement with Boeing. Along with this, the new Thrustmaster replica Boeing yoke and throttle quadrant is announced. The team at Thrustmaster worked very closely with Boeing as the development of these new products ensued, making sure it was as realistic as possible. One of the main features of the new yoke system is the addition of a ‘pendular’ yoke. This is the first desktop yoke ever created in the flight simulation community to have this pendular addition, meaning the base of the product is below the yoke, instead of in front.

Thrustmaster shares that part of what helped the team replicate the feeling and the sturdiness of the system is the fact that 100% of the interior of the yoke is metal. While it isn’t stated, it can be reasonably inferred that the new Boeing Lineup will only be available for PC and Mac. The team also shares that a price-point of this product will be announced on November 9th, 2021.

During the following Q/A session, questions were asked if the TCA Boeing and Airbus lineups were going to be updated to feature compatibility with the Xbox platform, but no information was shared.
