Thrustmaster Viper TQS Revealed at FSExpo 2023, New Fighter Jet Controls

Viper TQS is going to be the next throttle quadrant from Thrustmaster.

During the first product announcement seminar at FSExpo 2023, Thrustmaster revealed Viper TQS, their next product to cater for the needs of flight simmers, specifically aimed at fighter jet pilots.

The controls were designed and developed in collaboration with the US Air Force and is an officially licenced product. The set is intended to replace the previous Thrustmaster HOTAS COUGAR from 2010, which is a replica of the most-common fighter jet controls, and Thrustmaster received many requests from the community to bring it back.

Viper will be a 1:1 scale metal replica of the actual aircraft controls, complete with mission controls such as the landing gear switch, flare button, iconic panel controls, and realistic removable afterburner and cut-off detents.

The mission panel will be detachable from the main quadrant and will include various buttons and switches to use. With that in mind, there will be three products available for purchase within this new set, each with its own price:

  • Viper TQS Mission Pack (Throttle + Panel) – €499.99
  • Viper TQS (Throttle) – €329.99
  • Viper Panel (Panel) – €229.99

Pre-orders are planned to start on August 23rd, 2023, followed by commercial availability on October 11th, 2023.
