ToLiss Airbus A330 Announced for X-Plane

ToLiss has recently taken to their Facebook page to announce the development of Airbus A330 for the
X-Plane simulator, bringing another long-haul aircraft to life in Laminar Research’s platform after the release of Airbus A340 back in 2021.

Airbus A330 is the largest currently developed aircraft of the Airbus A3XX family, with sub-types like -200, -300 and the New Engine Option sub-types -800 and -900. Various engine types, such as the CF6, Pratt & Whitney PW4000 or Trent 700 might equip this long-haul family. The NEO versions are equipped with Trent 1000 and GEnx.

The first A330 was manufactured back in 1992, and it is still being manufactured and used by a lot of airlines around the world, with the largest operators being Delta Air Lines, Turkish Airlines and Air China.

Speaking of the ToLiss’ announcement, they did not disclose which variant they would go for. This has been confirmed on their Facebook page, as well as on the Facebook page of the X-Plane simulator. This means that the development might range from anywhere in the old, CEO, variants, to the latest NEO variants.

While the entire development remains a mystery for now, we might receive more information about this aircraft for X-Plane soon. In the meantime, you can also read about ToLiss’ Airbus A320 NEO for X-Plane 12 here.
