Tuwaiq Designs Releases Bahrain Airport for MSFS

A new developer Tuwaiq Designs has so far focused on the Red Sea project and Abha International Airport has released a new, major international hub for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The team decided to bring Bahrain Airport (OBBI) to life in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

About Bahrain Airport

Settled in the middle of the Arabian Gulf, Bahrain Airport is a major international hub of the Middle East. The airport is located on an island and has its origins as far back as 1927. Back then, the first charter flights to this destination started to operate.

During World War II, the airport was mostly used by the United States and functioned as a stopover on the route to Abadan or Sharjah. A new passenger terminal opened in the 1960s, and later the airport went through several reconstructions in the 1980s and late 2000s.

Other than that, the airport also serves as a cargo hub, with DHL being the largest operator at this airport.
