UK2000 Scenery has today taken to their Facebook Page to share further details on the development for Microsoft Flight Simulator while also mentioning the future of X-Plane 11 and Prepar3D sceneries.
Based on the post, UK2000 is looking into making all their UK Airports compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator within the next 2-4 years. There is no order of the sceneries set. This was announced to avoid getting emails saying “When are you going to make airport X“. They have also submitted an Marketplace application to Microsoft and are now awaiting approval. If everything goes well, we can expect UK2000 sceneries for the simulator in the in-game Marketplace.
Prepar3D sceneries will still be coming as usual. A new scenery for Prepar3D was even teased saying, that we can expect it to come in December/January. It was not specified which airport it’s going to cover.
With X-Plane 11 developement, it looks a bit worse. The developer is looking into dropping the X-Plane 11 support. This would mean, that we would no longer receive update for current and generally new sceneries for the simulator.
