A well-known developer, Verticalsim, of sceneries for Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane has released the first scenery in the VCities line-up for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This freeware cityscape for the city of Tampa, Florida is now available through Flightsim.to.
This package modifies the downtown of Tampa and changes numerous buildings across the city. This package is rather small in size, only 50MB to download. However, this scenery not only changes 12 different buildings, but also edits the night lighting of the city.
List of included buildings
- Tropicana Field
- One Tampa City
- Bank of America
- Fifth Thrid Bank
- Sykes
- Sheraton Riverwalk
- Convention Center
- Suntrust
- Cali Center
- Courthouse
- Regions
- Amalie Arena
While this is the first scenery of VCities line-up, verticalsim has a vibrant history of sceneries, from famous, but discontinued VStates, VCountries, as well as numerous airport sceneries that are very detailed. For example, you can take a look at our review of one of their older scenery for X-Plane 11, which punctually depicted Baltimore Airport.
