VerticalSim Updates Tampa Airport to V2.1

X-Plane 11 scenery developer VerticalSim has recently taken to their Facebook page to announce an update to their Tampa International Airport (KTPA) scenery for X-Plane 11, as well as sharing multiple screenshots and information about the update.

The update includes a complete revamp of the terminals with new HD textures, which is preparing the airport for the Microsoft Flight Simulator release. Additionally, all textures have been converted to .dds files for better VRAM performance.

The scenery can be updated for existing owners by re downloading it from their VerticalSim account. The currently discounted scenery can be purchased from the VerticalSim store for approximately €11.74 here. The scenery will also be available for Microsoft Flight Simulator in the future, although no release date has been shared.

Tampa International Airport is located in Florida and is home to regional airline Silver Airways. The airport offers various passenger and cargo flights to the rest of the USA and Europe from various large airlines such as American Airlines and Lufthansa. The airport was opened in 1971 and has since undergone several expansions and refurbishments.
