Volanta has released its newest update for its flight simulation tracking software, Update 1.12. This update brings enhancements for both free and paid users and bug fixes. Volanta is one of many flight tracking software programs available for all major flight simulators, such as Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane.
Volanta 1.12 Update
With update 1.12, premium users can now customise their profiles using the new paintbrush icon. Users can now choose which flights are visible when someone clicks on your profile and which screenshots you would like highlighted. There is a maximum of three that can be highlighted at once.
Volanta has also introduced a new option to pause flight tracking. This option can be found in the top right menu for all active flights. While enabled, no new position updates will occur, allowing your flight path to stay clean while you adjust yourself. If real-time tracking is enabled, the icon will still move to show you where tracking will resume when unpaused.

If your simulator disconnects or crashes mid-flight, there is now an option to automatically pause tracking. This can be found in the automation section of the settings in Volanta. The setting is off by default, so you will have to make sure to turn it on if needed. Another quality of life feature is being able to add or remove tags from multiple flights.
Hovering over any point of the flight path chart will now show data from all three datasets. This means you no longer need to find the hover spot for each data point. If you are switching from ELEVATEX, a new automatic importer will filter out flights and aircraft originally tracked in Volanta. Some other stability and performance improvements have also been made to make it more reliable.

Some of the fixes addressed in this update include the flight time being recorded as 0, double scroll bars appearing on the flight list page, and not being able to open old Simbrief briefings, among a few other fixes.
