Volanta Update 1.2 Released

Orbx has recently issued a new update for their Volanta tracking software. This “Activities update”, as the developer refers to it, added plenty of features and is now available for all the Volanta users. The developer announced the release through their Forums.

Volanta 1.2

Volanta 1.2 adds Aerocaches, which is a global treasure hunt. Your task is to look for floating Volanta symbols around the globe. First, you’ll be given a hint of where and what to look for. This is dynamically injected into all three major platforms. That being Microsoft Flight Simulator, Prepar3D and X-Plane 11 as well. These Aerocaches are hidden all around the globe.

Second of all, the developer added an Online Network Events viewer, which makes it easier to look for events on Online networks like VATSIM and IVAO. Volanta visualises these events on the map as well.

Thirdly, Volanta is now able to show you your scenery map in your simulator. It shows active in-sim sceneries. Therefore, Volanta makes it easier to manage your scenery packages.

The developer removed the Challenges tab from the application. Now, Volanta shows the “Activities” tab instead. The activities tab works as a hub for all the activities mentioned above.

Volanta Premium

Volanta premium now adds many new and useful features. There is a new time sync feature, which synchronizes time in your simulator. In addition to that, there is autosave, which will mainly X-Plane 11 users find helpful, as there’s no good autosave as of yet.
